Turns and Twists

I venture the vast blue sea for a chance to witness the world that I’ve never seen before.

As I went aboard, I look upon the clear day sky and let the morning wind indulge my skin as I leave everything to Him. And my journey through the waters of the world had begun.

At first, I found it great, swirling positive vibe is emerging within me as finally, I’m feeling serenity.

The weather favors me as signs of a storm is nowhere – a flock of birds is flying in symphony above the harmonious heaven as the clouds are pleasing; the wind is relaxing, and the sea is calming.

“A beautiful journey isn’t it?”, I said to myself as I sail, sail, and sail in harmony to the ocean waves.

But, a sudden turn of events changed everything. A disturbance from the above showed the annihilation this world can bring to anyone who is trying to conquer it. A storm rages, it proves no mercy even to me who is just a wanderer.

That optimism and positivism that I’m holding, I felt that I’m slowly losing them. That sanguine personality that I’m trying to embody is loosening its grip in my heart.

I’m about to lose faith from there but a light shined to me. I don’t know where it came from but it reminded me of everything that I went through – the struggles, the problems, and hardships – that I conquered and attained victory from.

On that point, I cherished every moment and relied on them to guide me in these unexpected twists of life as I close my eyes. After a stormy night, to my surprise I’m still alive so is my voyage in this world.

My belief is rejuvenated. And I swear to myself that no matter how many tides of destruction will come in my sailing expedition, I’ll persist by continuously paddling amidst the dangers of the waves. I’ll fight for my purpose so at the end of my quest, I will find my uniquely designed destination.
