We should let our emotions embrace and care for us because they’re doing it to tell us to be true to ourselves and respond accordingly to the situations we are into. – Happy Dreamer
I have guardians.
Their origin is a mystery
as they came to me
unidentified. Some
said they arise
naturally
while others
argued they develop
through experience –
but no matter where
their birthplace is
or from what
universe they came from,
I’m lucky to have them
in my back.
Why?
Because
They’re the posts.
Yes! They’re the foundation
that build me from within.
They’re intangible
yet I and thyself
can feel them
’cause that’s
their purpose –
to be felt
by our hearts.
They push us to smile
’cause we’re happy;
they make us cry
’cause were sad
and broken;
they frighten us
’cause danger
is somewhere
near; and
countlessly,
they touch us
more than
anyone else
’cause
they want us
to realize our situations
so we can respond and
adjust with them.
Second,
and the last reason;
they make our
minds wander as they try
to pin down the point
of feeling something
new and unusual
to our naked senses.
Sometimes, it’s really
annoying yet we
should be thankful
to them ’cause
they make us human
after all.
Indeed,
humanity co-exist
with emotions.
They let us
feel everything
as it’s their
sole objective
in the realm of this
world full of riddles.
Like Riley from Inside Out,
we all have companions
to guide our existence.
Emotions live with us.
Every man has their
own Joy, Sadness,
Fear, Disgust, and
Anger.
Our humane physique
might be there,
but for what reason?
What is its purpose
in the world?
To exist without
essence is something
that can freak
the hell out of us.
So if you’re trying
to run away from them,
I think you need a change
of heart and mind.
Let them stay ’cause
emotions are our
dear guardians.
